When more than 850 scientists, researchers, and industry professionals arrived in Dubrovnik for PAGE 2026, held from 2 to 5 June 2026, they experienced a programme that ran smoothly from the opening session to the final farewell. What delegates saw on site was the result of months of preparation and coordination taking place behind the scenes.

As the official Professional Congress Organiser (PCO) for the PAGE Annual Meeting, AFEA Congress managed the operational delivery of the event across every stage of the participant journey. From registration and abstract support to accommodation management, travel logistics, venue operations, catering, speaker coordination, exhibition services, and social events, AFEA Congress team worked closely with PAGE and local partners to bring the meeting to life.
This year's edition featured 470 abstracts presented through oral presentations, poster sessions, and software demonstrations, with a scientific programme running across multiple parallel tracks. Delivering that programme required careful coordination between organisers, speakers, venue team and suppliers ensuring that every session, presentation, and meeting space functioned as planned.

Beyond the scientific programme, PAGE 2026 gave delegates the opportunity to experience Dubrovnik itself. A sunset Welcome Reception overlooking the Adriatic provided the first opportunity for the international community to reconnect, while the Gala Dinner, held on the city's coastline and accompanied by live DJ entertainment, offered a relaxed setting to continue conversations that had started in lecture halls and poster sessions.

The exhibition area also played a central role throughout the meeting, bringing together more than 30 sponsors and partners and creating opportunities for dialogue between researchers, technology providers, and industry representatives.
For AFEA Congress, the success of PAGE 2026 was built on collaboration. Delivering an event of this scale requires constant communication between scientific leadership, venues, suppliers, sponsors, and local stakeholders, often with multiple workstreams running simultaneously. While much of that work remains invisible to delegates, it is essential to creating an experience that feels effortless once the meeting begins.
PAGE 2026 was delivered in close collaboration with Professor Oscar Della Pasqua, President of PAGE and Chair of the Annual Meeting, continuing a long-standing partnership between PAGE and AFEA Congress that has evolved over multiple editions of the meeting.

With Dubrovnik now concluded, preparations are already underway for PAGE 2027 in Lyon, France, where the pharmacometrics community will gather once again to exchange knowledge, showcase new research, and strengthen international collaboration.
