In late March, Dimitra Lignou, Vice President & CEO of AFEA Congress, had the opportunity to join a select group of senior leaders in the meetings and events industry at the IAPCO & Leading Centres of Europe (LCE) Storytelling and Communication Skills Workshop, held at the Austria Center Vienna.
The two-day workshop, hosted by Pink Elephant Communications, focused on practical techniques to enhance storytelling and communication strategies in today’s fast-paced business environment. With hands-on exercises and real-world scenarios, Dimitra and other participants worked on refining their ability to create and deliver impactful messages that connect with diverse audiences.
The event provided a valuable platform for AFEA Congress to engage with like-minded professionals and organizations, fostering creative exchanges on the challenges and opportunities in event communication. Dimitra’s involvement reflects AFEA’s dedication to ongoing professional development and excellence in the services we deliver.
The workshop was expertly organized, combining learning with the chance to network and collaborate in a welcoming atmosphere. A memorable takeaway from the experience was the Pink Elephant mascot, “Nelly,” symbolizing both the knowledge gained and the spirit of the event.
AFEA Congress remains committed to investing in people, knowledge, and innovative solutions, recognizing the power of communication in shaping the future of global events and congress management.
