AFEA Congress proudly participated in IAPCO EDGE Stockholm 2026, held from 18–21 January 2026, with our colleagues Giota Moraiti and Lamprini Nikolidaki representing the company at this landmark educational event for meetings and events professionals.
EDGE Stockholm brought together over 60 participants from PCOs, CVBs, associations and venues for four intensive days of learning, collaboration and connection, marking a milestone year as IAPCO EDGE celebrated its 10th anniversary. The programme was led by the distinguished IAPCO faculty — Sissi Lignou, IAPCO President; Nicola McGrane, IAPCO Training Academy Regional Representative (Europe); and Mathias Posch, IAPCO Past President and Chair of the Accreditation Committee — and was further enriched by an inspiring keynote from Tobias Degsell, delivering future-focused insights and hands-on learning experiences.
The seminar opened with a memorable welcome reception at the iconic Stockholm City Hall, setting the tone for an engaging programme that explored industry foundations, future trends, innovation clinics, collaborative group work and experience-driven learning. Stockholm, celebrated as a city where creativity thrives, provided the perfect backdrop, with authentic local experiences curated by the Local Organising Committee hosts Stockholm Business Region, Meetagain AB and Nordic Hotels & Resorts.
A special highlight of this anniversary edition was EDGEat10: Voices of a Decade, where selected EDGE alumni shared personal stories and key lessons from the past ten years of the programme. We are especially proud that Lamprini Nikolidaki was among the featured alumni speakers, alongside Anna Hall, Guendalina Carnesecchi and Olivia Galun, contributing to this meaningful reflection on the long-term impact of IAPCO EDGE.
Participation in initiatives such as IAPCO EDGE is also part of our team development activities within the MICE-VISION project, implemented by AFEA Congress under the European fuTOURiSME programme, supporting the digital and sustainable transformation of the meetings industry.
We are delighted that both Giota and Lamprini were part of this exceptional experience and look forward to translating the insights, inspiration and connections gained in Stockholm into added value for our clients and projects at AFEA Congress.
