Sissy Lygnou, AFEA CEO & IAPCO Council Member and Kleopatra Giatsou, Operations Manager, PCO Services had the pleasure to attend and represent AFEA at the IAPCO AM & GA, which took place from 10 - 13 February 2022, in the beautiful city of Rome.
With the key message “There is no future without history, without innovation”, inspiring, educational and exceptional keynote speeches, the IAPCO event highlighted the challenges the industry/community was faced with in the last two years and showcased the resilience, creativity and innovation while adapting to the new reality. Espresso exchange sessions, fieldtrips, educational workshops, interactive exercises, powerful networking, as also amazing social events were just a few of the elements of an unforgettable meeting. During the event, delegates had the chance to interact and collaborate again after two years and experience the energy and the passion of F2F meetings.
Once more we realized that “we are better together” and that we should never “give up on our dreams”! The wonderful hosts AIM Group International, Ega worldwide congresses & events, OIC Group together with IAPCO created an unforgettable experience for meeting and event professionals and we are all looking forward to the next AM&GA #IAPCO2023 in Jerusalem.
As a board member, Sissi Lygnou also attended the IAPCO Council Meetings that took place in Florence, prior to the Associations’ AM & GA.
